Tom’s Fall Schedule: Fall 2011

Please copy off the itinerary below, and pray alongside as we obey the Lord’s call to strengthen and mobilize His Body in cities and nations. Please utilize these Scriptures to guide your prayers: 1) For the cities where I’m laboring: Ro. 15:5-7, 1 Thess. 3:12-13, 2 Thess2:16, 17, 2) Favor on our endeavors, Psalm 90:17, and 3) Safety for Tom’s travels: Ps. 91 and 2 Thess 3:3.

* Sept 12-14: Leaders Prayer Summit, Knoxville, TN. This is a new city where I’ve been asked to coach. Many key leaders will participate. They are asking me to assist in the appointing of a city-wide team to lead on-going transformational endeavors. 
 
* Sept 15-16: One Day Summit, Abilene, TX. A core of leaders here discovered me last Spring, and want me to lead a one-day “mini-Summit” in preparation for a full three day Summit in November. 
 
* Sept 19-23: “Movement Day,” New York City. Gathering of 1500 city movement practitioners. I will also co-facilitate a leadership learning community with 38 leaders from 12 cities in the US and CANADA. This is a new format I’m developing for veteran city movements, so would appreciate your prayers for wisdom and anointing. 
 
* Sept 24-29: Skopje, MACEDONIA. Annual Prayer Summit & consultation with Skopje City Church Team. Two fresh developments: 1) a dinner with officials in both city and National governments, and 2) meeting with business leaders of influence, talking to both groups about how a united, praying Body of Christ can release kingdom blessing in the city and nation! 
 
* Sept 30: Vienna, AUSTRIA. Exploratory meeting with leaders. Pray I discern whether this is an open door for the future. 
 
* Oct 1-6: Siliguri, INDIA. Annual Summit in a city I’ve coached for 5 years. Pray for wisdom as I consult with the city-wide leadership team, which is well-led and focused. This Summit is regional, and includes leaders from Darjeeling, Nepal and Bhutan. 
 
Oct 10-16: Ullan Battar, MONGOLIA. A first ever daylong “mini-Prayer Summit” for the Mongolia Evangelical Association (pastors and kingdom leaders of the city). Also, a day-long prayer retreat with the leaders of Hope Church, and a day retreat, Friday the 14th with the leaders of Vet-Net (the non-profit our daughter Melissa serves with, 70 Mongolians and 8 internationals).
 
After a few days of rest, I will pick up again Oct 26-Nov 17 with assignments in cities in the US and CANADA.

* Oct 27-28, Kansas City. For the first time, leaders of major ministries and strategies will be seeking the Lord together, asking: “What must be do better together that we cannot do in our own ministries alone?”
 
* Oct. 29-Nov 2, Nashville. Prayer Summit and consultation with the Middle Tennessee Servant Leader Team (there is a significant moving of the Spirit in John 17 unity in this region. Exciting to watch this unfold!)
 
* Nov 3-5, Kingston, CANADA (yet to be confirmed)
 
* Nov 7-9, “Uncovered” Conference, Orlando. American Bible Society initiative to increase Scripture usage in US Cities. I’ve been asked to bring a practitioner’s perspective on city-reaching.
 
* Nov 14-16, Abilene, TX. Three day Leaders Prayer Summit.
 
* Nov 17, Home to Corvallis!!!

The next nine weeks will involve long days, lots of travel and dealing with complex situations, so I covet your prayers for stamina and wisdom.Thank you for your partnering and help with both intercession and provision as the Lord sovereignly guides you.
